  1. Is there more information about the ballet suite Thousand and one nights? To which stories of the book do they refer? Was it written in 1926 with a piano version in 1928?

  2. Bortkiewicz’s tone poem Othello is, to my mind, just as good as any of Richard Strauss’s tone poems, but alas! so totally neglected that few listeners have ever heard of it, much less heard it .
